BIOGRAPHY

Artist Huang Yue, graduated from the Beijing Film Academy in 1982 with a fine arts major. He created a new style – Huang Yue Bird-Flower Oil Painting in year 2000 and Huang Yue Ink and Color Painting in year 2014. In 2017, Huang Yue was honored with "A Knight of the Italian Republic" by Italian president. In 2014, the Rockefeller Family held a solo exhibition for Huang Yue, which was the first time for an Asian artist in nearly a century. Likewise, the four generations of Rockefeller Family members have collected more than 30 works by Huang Yue. In 2012, he served as the Chairman of the Art Steering Committee of the (London) Olympic Art Conference.

Huang Yue’s paintings are collected by the United Nations, the Italian government, the Irish government, the National Bank of Ireland, the Rothschild family, the Rockefeller family, and the 26 heads of state. Huang Yue's work has won the Gold Medal at the 2012 London Olympic Art Exhibition, and the 2014 Gold Medal at the 20th International Art Exhibition at Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum, Japan. His albums have been collected by the National Library of China and the National Palace Museum in Taiwan.
